I wanted to rewrite my free snail pattern and use it in my book, making it a bit bigger and adding more details like the antennae nubs and a better body shape. I am really happy with how it came out. The new pattern is much bigger, and has more personality. One reason I have always loved the snail pattern is that it’s super easy and crochets up fast for those new to crochet. The new snail is super easy, but will take longer because of the size, so I’m going to make another pattern for a small snail, the same size as the original free pattern snail, but with antennae nubs and a new body shape. So the book will have the new bigger snail pattern and a reworked small snail pattern! I’m getting close to the end of new pattern design for the book. I have 35 patterns now and have to choose 30 for the book. It’s hard! I want to include them all but I want to keep the paperback book cheap, $20.00, so I can’t add too many pages. The e-book will be $15.00.
