FREE PATTERN GIVE AWAY!!!

FREE PATTERN GIVE AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to be offering two sets of emailed PDF amigurumi patterns, one copy of each pattern in my shop FREE! I love making amigurumi and I really want my etsy shop to do well so, to qualify for the give-away, visit my shop, look around and tell me what you think. Send me your comments through the contact Knotty feature on my etsy site. Good or bad I want to hear it. I will pick the two most helpful posts on Saturday May 16, 2009 and send the two winners their pattern collections on Sunday May 17, 2009. Thank you for your help!

Hi there =)
I'm not really an amigurumi person, I'm more of a felt/cloth kinda girl =), but I would love to share with you what I think of the shop (if you would like to hear of course =D) I know you asked for a convo, but I hardly use my Etsy account, so here's it:

1. Love the ice cream, tasty bears and chick patterns! So cute =). Perhaps more of such similar kinds of patterns?
2. I know that chicks are suppose to be yellow, and pandas are suppose to be black and white - But would it be possible to make them cuter and more attractive by using different pastel colours? Eg a pastel pink and white for the panda.
3. Perhaps more importantly, I realise that I am more attractive to photos that have lovely backgrounds. White works well - but only if there are good props. Simple but coloured backgrounds are always appealling. Kawaii/cute background always make a crafter's heart melt! I am not purporting to be a photographer (I am most definitely not), but this is something which I realise as I browse through Flickr.=)

I hope some of the above helped somewhat =).
Good luck with the reopening of the store, and keep up the great job you're doing right now =). I wish to some day open a store in Etsy as well, but I'm still waiting for the right time and opportunity =). Just like waiting for the right time to try out amigurumi =P.

Hello there. I am doing a few amigurumis myself here and there and am offering some in my shop.
I really like your Lilith doll and the Happy Frog pattern, which you used to offer. I really think you should bring it back! I can see that it used to sell very well a couple of years ago and I believe it still would now! I also agree with the previous post, that if you use more cutesy/eyecatching colors for the amigurumis in your pictures it might attract more sales.
